Our Philosophy

You deserve a groomer who talks to you, not just about your dog.

Every appointment at The Woof is one on one, your dog and your groomer, with no other pets in the space and nothing rushing the process. Behind every groom is real skin and coat expertise, paired with a genuine eye for precise, polished cuts, breed standard or fully custom. Private and unhurried isn't an upgrade here, it's simply how every session is run.

Exceptional care shouldn't come with an exceptional price tag. We keep our studio small and our overhead low so that thoughtful, luxury level grooming stays accessible, without cutting corners on products, time, or attention.

Health Before Hairstyle

Care that goes deeper than the coat

No two dogs are groomed the same way here. Every session is built around an assessment, not an assumption. Here's what that means for your dog.

Skin & Coat Assessment

Before a single clip, we check for texture, sensitivities, matting risk, and coat condition, so every groom is tailored to your dog's actual needs, not a standard package.

Real Conversation, Real Education

You'll leave with notes on your dog's skin & coat you can actually use, plus simple home care tips, not just a cute photo and a wave goodbye.

Skin Conscious Water & Products

We use top of the line skin friendly shampoo and conditioning systems alongside filtered water, selected with coat condition and sensitivities in mind.

Fully Private, One on One

No cage dryers, no crowded kennels, no other dogs pacing nearby. Just your dog, your groomer, and your dog's own pace.

Puppy Introductory Groom

A gentle first grooming experience that builds confidence and trust, added onto a Full Service Bath or Bath & Tidy Up appointment. Puppies new to grooming start with a slow introduction, not a full haircut, so every part of the process is introduced calmly and positively at their own pace. We meet every puppy where they are, some confident, some needing extra reassurance, and never rush or push past their comfort zone.

Spa Add Ons

Nail Trim Only From $15

Please let us know if your pup is difficult for nails, safety is our first priority. Pricing is contingent on the extremity of your pup's behavior.

Small $15Medium $20Large $25
Anal Gland Expression $10

Helps relieve discomfort caused by full anal glands. A quick, external procedure that may reduce scooting, licking, or odor.

Extensive Ear Cleaning $10

For ear infections or really dirty ears. This will not cure an ear infection, but may alleviate some of the discomfort.

Teeth Brushing $7

Teeth are brushed with a veterinarian recommended enzymatic toothpaste, followed up with breath spray.

Dematting $15+

Charged at $60 per hour, billed in 15 minute increments. This process can be time consuming and uncomfortable for your pet, so please brush frequently to help avoid the need for it.

Deshed & Undercoat Removal From $20

Double coated breeds naturally blow coat, releasing loose undercoat that can tangle, trap heat, and shed all over your home. Includes manual undercoat removal with professional tools and technique, a deshedding shampoo that loosens compacted hair and removes excess oils and debris, and a conditioning treatment to reduce breakage and leave the coat soft and healthy. Pricing varies with the extent of undercoat buildup and the size of your dog.

Studio Policies

Unexpected Fleas & Ticks From $25+

This is a last resort policy, not a routine service, for dogs who unknowingly arrive with fleas or ticks. If they are discovered during your appointment, a flea & tick treatment is applied to protect your dog and the next dog we see, and a sanitation fee for the grooming environment may also apply. Pricing depends on severity.

Special Handling From $15+

May apply to dogs who need additional time, assistance, or safety measures, including resistance or biting, mobility or medical needs, repeated accidents during the appointment, or situations that call for extra handling support. Charged based on time and handling needs, starting at $60 per hour in 15 minute increments.

Late Pickup From $10+

We always send a courtesy heads up 15 to 30 minutes before your pup is finished. A $10 late care fee begins 30 minutes after that notification, and a $50 full day boarding fee applies after 2 hours.

Late Drop Off From $10+

Appointments include a 10 minute grace period based on when drop off is fully complete. Later drop offs may incur a fee, up to a missed appointment charge for drop offs 20 minutes or more late. Full details are in our Terms of Service.

No Shows 40% of groom cost

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. Missing an appointment without notice takes away an opportunity for another pup to be groomed. After 2 no shows, a deposit will be required to book future appointments.

Lenni Wolfe with her Giant Schnauzer, P
Meet Your Groomer

The story behind The Woof

Lenni Wolfe
Owner & Lead Groomer

Lenni's path into grooming started with P, her rescued Giant Schnauzer. After struggling to find a groomer who truly understood P's coat type and breed standard cut, Lenni started grooming her herself and discovered a genuine love for the craft.

That curiosity grew into professional education and years of hands on experience across corporate grooming, private salons, salon management, and mobile grooming, including working under an internationally renowned Master Groomer.

Eventually, that experience became The Woof, built around the appointment Lenni had wanted for P from the beginning: private, unrushed, knowledgeable, and personal.

P is still the reason behind it all. 🖤
